Hi, I’m Rebecca, The Style Finders Founder, Designer and Stylist.

I have always loved styling and functional design.  My life’s experiences have been leading me in this direction.  Influencing and fine turning my skills until one day I realised I actually had an ability.  Apparently, not everyone can envision a room or space.  A lot of people actually either hate doing it or can’t quite bring their vision to life.  Working out what people like and don’t like, even when they don’t know themselves is my superpower.  It is this ability and understanding that really allows me to help others.

Originally my passion was to design and style my own home.   While I was managing our renovations with my builder Husband and running our building company,  I saw many many clients on their own building and renovation roller coaster.  Architectural or not, the emotional journey is still very much the same.

I saw clients stressing out, while navigating the highs and lows of the renovation or building roller coaster.  Struggling with the volume of decisions and amount of time it takes to research all the options.  Delma over which shade or white or unable to find the shade of grey to create the look they want.  Questioning: Should they have tiles in this area, do they need joinery there?  Where will the TV go and how many power points do they need??  The list goes on.

Now, I get to share my experience and skills for styling and design with you, as a natural evolution for a process I enjoy.

Over 15 years I’ve renovated my properties and worked within the building industry. I’ve lived through the frustrations and the overwhelm.  I get it!  From these experiences I have gained a great knowledge of the process of building and renovating.  I have a great sense of aesthetics and balance, two components essential to creating a balanced look.

I also get that combining the styles and design needs of a couple or a family can create its own level of stress.  I love working with clients to combine their styles and design ideals to create their own, unique signature style.  Often clients call on me to rework an existing space which feels wrong or incomplete.  I love working with people to bring the right feeling in to the space.

I have success helping couples, businesses and individuals or family’s  find and articulate their style, create spaces that feel the way they want to and enjoy the process of creating a beautiful and effective/functional space.

What is my favourite part of the job?  The facial expression of a client when I have just wowed them with a design idea.  And the stories that come with treasured belongings, family pieces, something you collected on holiday

What inspires me? My favourite is colours and textures.  I love the tactile nature of things and the impact on how a space can feel.
